Our Girls2Ladies program helps girls develop leadership, self-esteem and life skills that prepare them for a successful future.
Arts - Dance Program
Our multicultural dance program introduces youth to the arts along with attending performances at the Tanger Center through a generous grant from COETA. Youth perform for various events.
SUMMER CAMP CAREY
Camp Carey will celebrate it's seventh year and to date has served over 800 children in our community through academics, enrichment and summer fun to help children avoid the summer learning loss.
Camp Carey is named in tribute to Carey Ilderton, founder of the Ilderton auto dealership which continues to serve the community for over 90 years.
Our LEAP Story
LEAP started with one child in 2012 and has grown to serve over 500 afterschool and 150 in our summer Camp Carey. We are a premiere college prep afterschool program from cradle to college focused on academics, character, leadership development and social-emotional learning for children along with wraparound services for their family.
LEAP is year-round and serves children afterschool and weekends through funding from grants, corporate and individual gifts.
LEAP provides services at no fee to families.

Our First Alumni
Our first alumni, Bisharat is a first-generation graduate from High Point University. His family is from Pakistan. He attended LEAP during his school years, graduated from HPU and is currently a local pharmacist serving our community.
