Summer camp experience at LEAP Camp Carey for children from poverty communities that includes:

Our Girls2Ladies program helps girls learn leadership and life skills that prepare them for a bright future.
Performing School of Arts - Dance
Our multicultural dance team introduces youth to the arts and performances at the Tanger Center through a generous grant. The dance team performs for events in the community.
SUMMER CAMP CAREY
Camp Carey celebrated it's sixth year and to date has served over 700 children in our community through academics, enrichment and summer fun to help children avoid the summer learning loss. Camp Carey is named in tribute to Carey Ilderton, founder of the Ilderton auto dealership that has served the community for over 90 years.

LEAP started with one child and has grown to serve over 500 afterschool and 150 in our summer Camp Carey. We are a premiere college prep afterschool program. We are a 501c3 non-profit cradle to college program focused on academics, character, leadership development and social-emotional learning for children along with wraparound services for their family.
LEAP is year-round and serves children afterschool and weekends. LEAP is funded through grants, corporate and individual giving and provides services at no fee to families.
